I'm a web designer/developer based in Southampton. And before you ask, "basher" is an old school nickname that's pretty much stuck. You see, I was an aspiring rock star for many years, thrashing my drums on many a sweaty stage for numerous bands, but mainly for bushbaby (heard of us? - nope, I thought not).
Out of necessity I designed the bushbaby website which, over the years, became as much of a passion as playing in the band.
Moving forward to the present I've learnt to do things properly, paying much closer attention to web standards & accessibility, using CSS-based layouts, and getting rid of all those bad habits! I have also delved into the murky depths of .NET & jQuery.
As well as freelancing, I've had plenty of commercial & agency experience as a front-end HTML/CSS developer, working at Skandia, B&Q & digital agency unite form. I am currently employed at Abacus e-Media.
